the location could not be better for exploring Tokyo. directly outside the hotel door in a metro line, in the lane next to the hotel is a multitude of great little bars and places to eat. Shops galore are just outside the door to. It was easy to access all of Tokyo via the metro and trains from the hotel. we even walked to the hotel from the train station where we got off the Narita Express. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, even in our triple we still had space for our cases (behind the door next to the wardrobe!) and the bathroom as large (by Tokyo standards) with the toilet and also shower/bath separate from the vanity making it easy for 3 to get ready in the morning. good breakfast, just a small selection but the hot course was made to order and delicious! Lovely staff as well!

Prime location, connected to Ginza station and easy access to multiple subway lines. Shopping and lots of good local restaurants within walking distance. Spotless bathroom and comfy bed.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of amenities (pajamas, robes, slippers, an abundance of toiletries including epsom salts for the bath). Heated Japanese toilet seat. Double sinks. Nespresso machine and electric kettle with tea options in the room, along with daily water bottles. Comfortable beds — we had a triple.

The hotel is in an excellent location close to a JR station and restaurants. It is very quiet and has some of the largest rooms I have ever stayed in in Japan. The room had a large sofa and small table which enabled us to eat food bought outside for dinner on a couple of nights. The bathroom is huge for Japan as well. There is a nice outside area in the lobby area which overlooks a large street crossing and the railway tracks, this would be a great place to watch the world go by on a warmer day. The aircon in the room was very responsive to change and ensured we could stay in a comfortable temperature away from the very over heated indoors in Japan.

The Gate Hotel by Hulic was a delightful experience. Even though my stay was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Centrally located in Ginza, Tokyo, it offers all the amenities one could desire in a hotel. The bar was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and professional, with excellent English proficiency. I'll definitely choose The Gate Hotel on my next trip to Tokyo.

The first room we were offered was over the main rail lines into Tokyo and Yurakucho. The double glazing was poor and the train noise unbearable. We were offered a room on the other side which was fine. We returned a week later and had a wonderful room on the top floor.

Fantastic location - plenty to see and do right outside in the Ginza neighborhood. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room had a wonderful view of the city. A great hotel all around.

The location was amazing, right at the tip of Ginza. Ginza station exit C1 brings you right to the door step of the hotel. Absolutely convenient, the staff were amazing! so polite and friendly. the room was spacious for Tokyo standards, the bath and toilet were HUGE. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious with amicable service! Loved our 3 nights stay here!
