Lounge or bar in The Gate Hotel Tokyo by Hulic
We had a corner room on the 9th floor with an amazing view of Ginza. We loved drawing back the curtains every evening to see all of the buildings lit up 😊. We also had lounge access during our stay, which we often had to ourselves - making for a relaxing and enjoyable drink in the evening 😊. As for the facilities, the room was large and we received fresh toiletries every day (very welcomed surprise). The breakfast was excellent - we particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and French Toast 😊. The drinks options at the bar were plentiful and we had an excellent dinner at the restaurant one of the nights we stayed 😊. Finally, the location is great, closely located to multiple stations which makes it a great base for exploring Tokyo. Hope to return to this hotel one day and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Tokyo 😊.

the location could not be better for exploring Tokyo. directly outside the hotel door in a metro line, in the lane next to the hotel is a multitude of great little bars and places to eat. Shops galore are just outside the door to. It was easy to access all of Tokyo via the metro and trains from the hotel. we even walked to the hotel from the train station where we got off the Narita Express. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, even in our triple we still had space for our cases (behind the door next to the wardrobe!) and the bathroom as large (by Tokyo standards) with the toilet and also shower/bath separate from the vanity making it easy for 3 to get ready in the morning. good breakfast, just a small selection but the hot course was made to order and delicious! Lovely staff as well!

The location of the hotel is close to Tokyo Station about 10-15 minutes, so when arriving by train or bus from Narita Airport is very convenient. From the station a taxi takes about 5 minutes. Check in at the hotel went smoothly and we were able to go straight to our room We booked a standard room, and were lucky to be put on 13th Floor as there was only one standard room on this level. We had breakfast included in our price, this was excellent. Nice having the option to eat in the restaurant at night and have a balcony bar area if you wanted to have a drink. Rooms were clean and housekeeping every day. All the staff were very professional.

“The location and cleanliness were good, and a nice touch was the comfortable, clean pajamas provided by the hotel — no need to bring your own. However, overall, I don’t think it was worth the high price for a 5-star hotel. The rooms are quite small, which became a real issue during our 6-night stay in Tokyo. Since Japan is typically a long-haul destination, travelers tend to bring large suitcases — and unfortunately, there simply wasn’t enough space to accommodate them comfortably. There was very limited room to move around, and the wardrobe space was also minimal. It felt cramped and inconvenient for a hotel of this level

It is the best hotel we've had on our trip to Japan. We spent a whole week in the hotel and every day had the same standards in terms of cleaning. The food was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful ( they know English at a relatively high level). Our room had enough space for two large luggage and a small one To have access to all. The location is wonderful. It's a short walk to Tokyo station. But just outside of the hotel, you will find 3 subway lines to connect you to all the central locations of interest in Tokyo.
